Embark on an enthralling journey through South America at our South American Adventure Summer Camp, designed exclusively for inquisitive minds in grades 5-6! From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, your young adventurers will dive into the diverse cultures, remarkable landmarks, and unique ecosystems of South America through an array of engaging activities and themed days. Each week, we'll weave STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) into our daily themes to create an enriching and well-rounded experience.
Daily Themes:
Exploring South American Ecosystems (Science & Engineering): Discover the varied ecosystems of South America, analyze their distinct characteristics, and participate in engineering challenges focused on habitat preservation and conservation.
Investigating South American Inventions and Innovations (Technology & Engineering): Uncover groundbreaking South American inventions and innovations, engage in hands-on experiments, and develop coding projects inspired by these advancements.
Celebrating South American Cultures and Traditions (Art & Culture): Immerse yourself in the world of South American art, music, and customs, and create culturally inspired projects that deepen your understanding of various South American countries and their histories.
South American Geography and Natural Wonders (Geography & Math): Analyze the geography of South America, study famous landmarks and natural wonders, and participate in data analysis activities using real-world geographical data.
Sustainability and Conservation in South America (Engineering & Math): Learn about cutting-edge sustainability initiatives in South America, contribute to eco-friendly projects, and analyze data from real South American research initiatives to understand the significance of conservation efforts.
