Embark on a remarkable journey through Africa at our African Expedition Summer Camp, tailored for enthusiastic learners in grades 3-4! From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, your young adventurers will delve into the diverse cultures, awe-inspiring landmarks, and captivating wildlife of Africa through a range of engaging activities and themed days. Each week, we'll weave STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) into our daily themes for an enriching and well-rounded experience.
Daily Themes:
Amazing African Wildlife and Habitats (Science & Engineering): Uncover the distinctive animals of Africa, build habitat models, and partake in engineering challenges that emphasize conservation efforts.
Exploring African Inventions and Innovations (Technology & Engineering): Discover groundbreaking African inventions and innovations, participate in hands-on experiments, and code your own projects inspired by these advancements.
Celebrating African Cultures and Traditions (Art & Culture): Immerse yourself in African art, games, and traditions, and create culturally inspired crafts that deepen your understanding of various African countries.
African Landmarks and Natural Wonders (Geography & Math): Navigate and learn about famous African landmarks and natural wonders through virtual tours, measurement activities, and data analysis.
Sustainability and Conservation in Africa (Engineering & Math): Learn about sustainability initiatives in Africa, participate in eco-friendly projects, and analyze data from real African research initiatives to grasp the importance of conservation.
