Embark on a thrilling adventure of discovery at our North American Adventures Summer Camp, tailored for curious minds in grades 3-4! From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, your young explorers will delve into the diverse cultures, wildlife, and landscapes of North America through a variety of engaging activities and themed days. Each week, we'll incorporate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) into our daily themes to promote a well-rounded learning experience.
Daily Themes:
North American Wildlife Wonders (Science & Art): Investigate the fascinating animals of North America through interactive tracking games and create scientific illustrations of native species.
Native American Culture Exploration (Art & Engineering): Discover the art, stories, and structures of Native American cultures, and design your own culturally-inspired engineering projects.
Exploring National Parks (Science & Math): Uncover the wonders of North American national parks through collaborative scavenger hunts and ecosystem mapping, while practicing data analysis and graphing skills.
Discovering the Great Lakes (Technology & Engineering): Dive into the world of the Great Lakes and engage in creative writing exercises, while designing and testing model boats to learn about buoyancy and water pollution.
North American Food and Music Festival (Art & Math): Experience the rich art, music, and flavors of North America through landscape painting, instrument crafting, and cooking activities that challenge recipe measurement conversion skills.
Activities Include:
Wildlife research projects and habitat diorama creation
Native American storytelling and art, along with culturally-inspired engineering challenges
